Miners Bay Owing its name to the adventurers bound for the Cariboo Gold Rush of 1858, Miners Bay is the commercial and social centre of Mayne Island. The port at Miners Bay has always been busy due to a steady stream of marine traffic travelling through the nearby Active Pass. The historic village there features an annual fall fair that has been held at the old Agricultural Hall since the gold rush era. Address: Fernhill Rd. Mayne Island BC CAN

Visitors to Cape Mudge are invited to view the spectacular artifacts at the Kwagiulth Museum and Cultural Centre of Cape Mudge or stay at Tsa-Kwa Luten Lodge and RV Park, a full service resort.
